In 2014, i was one of a number of cultural presenters at the 500th Anniversary celebration of the founding of St. Augustine's Fort Mose. The event, produced by the African American Future Society in partnership with Viva Florida, was a resounding success and served to solidify the African American Future Society's place as a important addition to the non-profit landscape.

I was introduced to African American Future Society approximately 5 years ago through a passionate young man by the name of Yul Anderson.
Yul has always expressed his concern about the future of black america and has defined his thought processes on ways to bring about awareness to various paths of destruction, as well as providing the road maps to navigate the black community towards the path of success.
He continuously strives to share various mechanisms of conservation to save the planet and the future of Black America, Giving special concern to the "injustices" within our criminal justice system and our overly-populated prison system housing a multitude of black talent.
From my association with Yul opportunities came about to meet other like-minded leaders like Dr. Claire Nelson, another passionate individual who puts in continuous efforts to bring awareness to the Future of Black America.
I honor these individuals for the self-less efforts and compassion for our well being.
