Mission: The Furniture Bank of Central Ohio helps fulfill the basic human need for shelter, by "turning empty houses into homes." formerly known as MAP, FBCO is a free Furniture Bank, and is the only furniture bank in central Ohio. It supports nearly 50 social service agencies that refer clients on an ongoing basis (weekly) by providing furniture and household items to their clients. Nearly 150 other organizations (agencies, churches, civic organizations) refer clients periodically.
Target demographics: provide FREE FURNITURE to central Ohio families and individuals struggling with POVERTY and other severe life challenges.
