The weekend retreat at RMA was a huge blessing for our family! It provided a great way to connect with other families. The staff was incredibly welcoming; they were super involved even during down time. We loved the campfires & dance party! Our son is already looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for creating such a special place to get away for the weekend.

They set up a booth on the only road to exit our middle school, so it's busy at pickup!...and they bring donuts. Kids are darting in front of cars to get donuts. They are literally teaching it's ok to take candy from strangers. on a busy road. ...dangerous! AND they've been asked to stop this at another nearby school, so they should know better..but apparently it's a winning tactic. Some of the donuts are seriously the size of a frisbee. This is nutzo behaviour. It's luring and predatory. I've let the cops know, this is not acceptable.

AOAF is focused on long term support for children who lost their first responder or military parent. They help them stay engaged in activities that help them stay on track. They support them all the way through high school instead of just supporting them one time. They post their audit on their website and are very transparent about how they use our donations.

Life Network is an absolute blessing to the Colorado Springs community. My volunteer shifts on Monday and Friday afternoons are the highlight of my week!

As a child I was reared in a home which had become known locally as the most protective refuge for those in danger. As a consequence we children were once very nearly orphaned in front of our eyes. <br> It is not easy being an agent of positive cultural change without being perceived as arrogant or paternalistic. <br> However, my East Indian friend, Global Action Area-Director Amit Mondal manages this balancing act with aplomb, <br>through Global's various Women's Seminars for Pastoral wives and other leading ladies. The uncommon affirmation and empowerment which the participants receive at these rare, rare opportunities to feel special and honoured in patriarchal India are deeply moving!<br> -- Kudos to to the ever respectful and resourceful Global Action for being able to deliver seriously significant blessing in gentleness and power!

Worst organization I have come across. They have double standards and move children from home to homes without the consideration of the well being of the children. Legal action should be taken against this organization and should be investigated,

We were super excited and could hardly wait to get started once we got the approval. Then everything changed. In order to make my payment of $480 I had to create a paypal account. I had fraudulent issues with paypal several years ago so I was reluctant but figured this would be different so I went ahead. Six days later I had fraudulent charges from paypal on my cc account saying I had purchased $517 worth of bitcoins, which I did not purchase. I called the main office to complain and was told that they use paypal as their creditor. That alone is suspicious. In the beginning when I had called the office their recording says your phone call will be returned within 48 hours but it wasn't so I called again and during that message I stated this was my second time to call, would someone please return my call like the recording states they will but no one did. I ended up having to call a third time to speak with anyone. I completely understand that the orthodontist would be busy during the Summer months so it could take a little while before my child could be seen to begin the process but to be expected to pay up front with no information whatsoever and just left waiting for a much as 60 days is unreasonable. When I expressed my concerns about this I was treated as a charity case. The only thing I asked for was the assurance that it was legit. I do not received any type of government funding whatsoever. I work. I am a single income, single parent but was talked to and treated as if I am a beggar because I applied for this scholarship. I was also shamed for questioning the fact that I wanted to confirm the legitimacy of the program. Who pays $480 up front with zero information and then told you'll be contacted in 60 days if they decide to see you?! If I waited for 60 days and then found out at the last minute it wasn't legit or that we wouldn't be seen I had nothing to go on about being refunded except her word and I do not know her. The fraudulent bitcoin charges was the last straw! I asked to be refunded while the payment was still new enough that if she refused I could depend on my cc company to enforce it. After 60 days the cc company would not enforce it. It's a crying shame the program actually works like this. According to the website it appears some people have had good experiences but then again where are the reviews? I question everything about this program!

I'm very impressed with the low cost overhead in the US and the very high return on the dollar of New Hope International, by partnering with churches and educational institutions throughout Eastern Europe and employing national staff and large numbers of volunteers. They do what they say they do and are a welcomed partner throughout Eastern Europe.
