I am the manager of survivorship & supportive services at GLIN IPA and often visit our oncology patients at the Kaleida Health Infusion Center. We were fortunate to receive Hope Totes to distribute to our cancer patients. These totes are beautiful and help patients feel seen and supported. Our patients absolutely love the totes and are thankful for the practical items in it! This organization’s mission is to offer hope and love, in the form of a tote! Thank you Hope Totes for all that you do for our adult cancer patients and their caregivers!

Hope totes is an organization I greatly admire. They help people feel loved and supported! They helped my mom’s friends in a great time of need. I saw how touched the people were who received their totes. I also love watching their social media for the encouraging stories they share.

I was fortunate enough to meet Amy & Colleen through a non-profit grant competition. I served as their coach to help curate a pitch, but I believe that I learned more through the experience. I learned of the story of Hope Totes through a friendship with one of the founders, Amy. It brought me back to my dad’s cancer journey and seeing my mom try to navigate the various emotions and appointments with him. I immediately knew the value that this non profit was going to provide to the local (and far reaching) community. I have been volunteering for the organization for the past year, and each event, small or large, fills me with a sense of joy and purpose when I leave. These ladies are truly selfless and I could not be happier to give my time to this wonderful cause. To think that what started as 2 ladies has grown into this incredible group of donors/volunteers/board members, is awe inspiring. After I was diagnosed with cancer, my caregiver received a tote. It meant everything to me to know that they were being comforted.

Hope Totes Inc is an amazing and impactful organization, who strives to ensure everyone feels loved and not alone during some of the most challenging times in their life, often when dealing with a difficult medical diagnosis or even a critical one. I personally received a Hope Tote that helped me to stay organized with my doctors appointments and medications while traveling on my fertility journey. When dealing with fertility issues you can feel extremely lonely, isolated, broken and depressed. To know I was not alone and that someone cared lifted my spirits and truly made a difference. Wrapping the blanket around me that was included w my tote, felt like a hug everytime. I'm forever grateful to Hope Totes and support their mission in full! I now volunteer for Hope Totes when I can. Giving back by packing Totes and or delivering them!

My husband received a tote while he was in the hospital. It was so helpful when speaking with doctors. We were able to maintain and organize all the information that they gave us. The blanket and slippers kept me warm while I was visiting my husband.

Colleen started Hope Totes with “an idea” to help others feel comforted and supported during difficult medical-related challenges. She has taken that dream and turned it into a powerful organization that makes a huge impact on hundreds of lives each year.
