Causes: Deaf & Hearing Impaired Centers, Disabilities, Human Services

Mission: Rancho Sordo Mudo is the flagship ministry of Berea Baptist Missions, Inc. It is a free home and school for deaf children in Baja California, Mexico. Ed and Margaret Everett, the founders of RSM, believed that deaf children could be taught how to read and write, to communicate in sign language, and to learn a trade for their future. More importantly, the goal of the ministry is to teach the children of God's love for them and give them a hope and future. This has been the work of the ranch for over 44 years.

Results: Hundreds of deaf have graduated and become productive citizens of Mexico, a blessing and not a burden or statistic. We have a 4 month Deaf Ministry internship program where you will learn deaf culture, sign language, deaf education and more. The team at RSM have some of the best hearts I have ever met. Truly moving to watch them give their all to care for the kids all day every day. The money I donate here goes farther than any other organization I sponsor.
