Programs: Scholarship programtfft's comprehensive scholarship program has grown to include approx 80 children and once part of the scholarship program, we promise our kids private boarding school education and tfft's guidance through high school graduation (average of 12 years). In addition to funding their education, tfft provides each child with a loving foster family, medical care, shoes, clothes and the daily support of tfft staff. We take them to doctors appointments, attend teacher conferences, teach them to care for themselves, burst with pride at their graduations, celebrate their achievements and ask them about their dreams. We help them believe in themselves and life's endless possibilities.

teacher trainingtfft's teacher training program contributes to access to quality education to a larger group. All children deserve to receive quality education-education that maximizes their potentials. Tfft believes in the centrality of the teachers' role in improving student outcomes. By investing in the training of teachers, we help in improving the educational landscape of tanzania. The teacher training program addresses two important components: profiding in serive training to teachers and building the capacity of school management teams. The teacher training program goals are: (1)to improve the quality of instruction in primary and secondary schools by improving pedagogic knowledge among teachers and management skills of school management teams: and (2)promote child-friendly, gender-sensitive, non stigmatizing culture in schools through policies and practices that respect the rights of children.

full circle (after school)tfft's full circle program is an essential component of our scholarship program. This program stretches our students' imagination, fuels their dreams, encourages them to voice their opinions, and broadens their understanding of themselves and their place in the world. Consider the many values parents instill in their children and the life lessons learned in a healthy home environment. In full circle we work with our children outside of the classroom to focus on life skills, develop confidence, emphasize the importance of giving back to the communtiy, teach hiv/aids prevention and awareness, encourage good hygiene and self care, and more.
