The Sail Charlevoix program is always a highlight of the summer for my two kids. Even my most timid will come home with smiles and stories of the day spent sailing on Lake Charlevoix. The Lake Charlevoix Mariners is a great organization that is entirely (and tirelessly!) by volunteers and deserves all the assistance and recognition they can get.

Causes: Sports, Swimming & Other Water Recreation
Mission: Sail Charlevoix has its roots going back more than the 35 years and has always been dedicated to providing our northern Michigan community exceptional sailing instruction and access to our beautiful Lake Charlevoix. We are a long-standing local organization whose priorities are Safety, Fun, Education and Advancement.
Target demographics: children and adults learn to enjoy and be safe on the water
Direct beneficiaries per year: 200 students
Geographic areas served: Northern Michigan
Programs: exceptional sailing lessons, racing lessons and access to family boating.
