Love that MMAR always post updates so the public can see the journey that animals receive once saved. Before and after photos are wonderful
Review from Guidestar
I followed this organization on Facebook for several months during 2020. A mare they listed as being pregnant needed to be bailed from a kill pen in Texas so I inquired how to purchase this horse. I contacted the kill pen and was told she was, in fact, not pregnant. I reached out to MMAR for clarification and they ignored my request. During this time, donors paid the bail and the horse was transferred to a Texas "rescue" per MMAR. When I reached out again to get the whereabouts of the horse to personally purchase/adopt, I was blocked. Ask questions, demand answers and pray the many horses that are bailed are truly safe because the one I wanted to help disappeared. Do your homework on this "rescue".
