Mission: The atlantic salmon federation is dedicated to the conservation, protection and restoration of wild atlantic salmon and the ecosystems on which their well-being and survival depend.
Programs: Conservation - undertake informational activities to foster understanding of wild atlantic salmon populations and impediments to their survival.
scientific research - undertake investigative research to determine wild atlantic salmon populations and identify solutions to remedy same.
education - inform the public of the results of the federation's studies and research.
