Causes: Education, Educational Services
Mission: JosiahKids is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to educate, empower and equip young students and TEENS in the local community in the areas of faith, leadership, community service, and the arts.
Results: JosiahKids opened their doors with 11 students on September of 2018 in what was a small neighborhood classroom. Today, JosiahKids is impacting 43 students ages 7-17 by offering educational workshops, panel discussions, community service events, guest speaker events, athletics, music, dance and an annual youth leadership award ceremony. Our students are increasing their knowledge of the Bible, becoming service-minded leaders. Our promise is to journey with our students through the joys and challenges of childhood, and to help them transition into adulthood, happy, fulfilled and empowered to make a meaningful life, as well as a meaningful difference.
Target demographics: Our young people become service minded visionary leaders in their community. Eager to reinvest the success they have acquired from us to benefit their communities.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 32 young students and TEENS by empowering, educating, equipping them to develop leadership skills.
Geographic areas served: Duluth, Georgia though our acceptance covers international and out of state students.
Programs: Panel Discussions, Leadership & Development Classes, Community Service Events, Guest Speaker Events, Educational Workshops, Music, Dance, Public Speaking, and an Annual Youth Leadership Award Ceremony.
