I have volunteered with the Crisis Center for several months now, and I have enjoyed getting to know the staff and other volunteers here. The Just Checking program is awesome! Calling and talking with Elderly or Home-bound individuals and putting a smile on their face makes me really feel like I am making a difference.

Mission: The mission of the Crisis Center is to offer the communities we serve education, advocacy and intervention allowing individuals to find positive solutions for personal crises. Through support, hope and education we strive to restore emotional balance to both individuals and the communities in which they live.
