In late August of 2023, DK Movement Cares held a 5K road race to benefit of the Agape House and the Bristol Special Olympics. Their hard work and dedication helped in raising thousands of dollars for each organization. This being their first 5K fundraiser in Bristol we have to give credit where credit is due and I look forward to next years event. Derek and Kelly, I Thank You for your continued service to our community!!!
DK Movement Cares puts 100% in all that they do. Their 1st Annual 5K was a great success and for only 2 people to put it together in less than 5 months and was able to raise over 10k speaks to the effort they give when they want to make a difference within their community. I will always be a supporter in anything they do.
Excellent non profit! Does everything to help the community. The organization organizes events and fundraisers for excellent causes.
Truly love working with a charity that is fully vested in giving back to the community. I took part in their inaugural 5k run this past summer, that raised over $11,000.00 for the homeless members of our community. Derek and Kelly are a true testament of selfless giving, and Bristol (and the greater Hartford area) are fortunate to have them.
DK Movement Cares does alot within their community. It is important to have individuals who truly care and want to make a difference. Due to their life experiences and the lessons they have learned along the way, it stands true to what Derek and Kelly do. I have seen them donate sporting equipment and art supplies to the Cambridge Park Boys and Girls Club of Bristol, I have seen them speak at group homes, they have participated in Career Days at high schools and The Boys and Girls Club. And it doesn’t stop there! They have provided gift cards for families in need, and they also assist in feeding those in need through Homeless Outreach programs.
As a parent of a child with Autism l believe in the vision and work of DK Movement Inc. They do wonderful work throughout the community!!!
