Causes: Family Services, Human Services
Mission: To provide education and supportive services to strenghten the family unit and enhance family functioning.
Programs: Nursery: our nursery is available 24 hours per day, seven days a week for emergencies and is licensed to the department of human services. During fy2017, 241 different children participated in this program for a total of 3,679 crisis respite hours.
family life education services: 1. The parent advocate/in-home visiting program provides home visiting services and referral/resource information to families in box elder county. The home visiting professional assists parents with a variety of interventions to increase the parent's ability to provide a nurturing atmosphere for their children 2. Parent education classes are offered on an on-going basis. 3. American red cross babysitting class is offered for youth over 11 years of age. During fy2017, parent education classes were held serving 271 individuals totaling 1,203 class hours.
therapy services: our family therapy program offers families a more intense approach to increasing their ability to care for their children and reduce family conflict. During fy2017, 78 family members participated in 467 individual therapy sessions.
IN 2015 we added our Case Management Program.
