Like most of us I don't have a lot of extra money to spend. What I do have, however, goes to this fund. Why? Because it goes to support education for young girls in a country where education for women is not always easy to come by. I spent part of last year teaching in Pakistan. I taught at a women's university where none of the young women took their education for granted. The money I contribute to the Iqra Fund goes to an impoverished area in the north of Pakistan. Little girls who were denied an education are now dreaming of what they can do WITH their education. What I give to this fund really does change lives. It has been a privilege to be part of this.
