Mission: Out boulder county educates, advocates and provides services,
Programs: Out boulder county is the producer of two pride festivals: boulder pridefest (the second largest in the state) and longmont pridefest. In 2017, over 9000 attended events and activities associated with our pride festivals. Over 150 vendors tabled at the events. Many corporations sponsor the events which include a full line-up of entertainers and a youth and family area.
out boulder county provides a variety of general educational programs for the lgbtq community. We train and educate students, teachers, government employees, church members, local media,other nonprofit organizations and for-profit organizations. Our largest educational program program is speaking out which is a speaker's bureau of over 75 trained people who speak on panels in boulder valley school district and st vrain valley school district. We reached over 4000 people in 2017.
out boulder county's out youth program (13 to 18-year olds) has three separate programs: arts and activism group, transgender and gender expansive youth group, and longmont youth group. Additionally, out boulder county provides three youth events: the night of noise, lgbtq and allied dance, and film and art premier. We served over 250 youth in 2017.
