Causes: Automotive Safety, Disaster Aid
Mission: Promote highway safety education in middle,high schools and universities across the state of florida; promote senior citizen highway safety; promote click it or ticket program and safety on highway 95 in florida.
Programs: Teen safety video series thru conferences and outreach, the "this could be you" video is now mandated to be watched as part of the drug & alcohol requirement before teens are issued a learner's permit. Included in the grant for dori saves lives club meetings crash reinactive demostrations, school safety assemblies, day at the capital road safety, bus drivers appreciation event.
program safety 95 the mission of this foundation is to reduce the number of preventable injuries and fatalities on the road by educating students and the public and raising awareness on a local and national level. Our methods of outreach include, building relationships with schools, law enforcement and other safety organizations. We share our innovative programs throughout the year that target our most "at risk" drivers. 4-6 programs are done every month utilizing our funds and donations. Included in the grant for drivers education in broward county schools, drivers education conferences, dangers of texting and driving presentations in schools, construction career days convention.
