Causes: Military & Veterans Organizations, Veterans
Mission: The Organization will create, plan, and coordinate various local, regional, and state fundraising events in Alabama, solo or in partnership with other 501(c) non-profit organizations and/or communities to honor and/or aid Marines and their family members in distress and need. And as resources permit, assist all Veterans, reputable non-profit organizations and special entities in good standing which honor and/or help military Veterans experiencing hardship and needing aid, provide Honor Guard funeral services for Veterans when and where possible, and support related research and provide community services.
Results: Since July 2018, KMAA has provided financial aid and supportive services in excess of $260,00.00... The KMAA "SPARE a Life" suicide prevention initiative has saved a minimum of 16 Veterans, possibly more... KMAA has implement "SALT" a child firearm safety initiative... Annual participant in Toys for Tots... Only participant and float in the 2020 National Birmingham Veterans Day parade...
