Mission: TO PROMOTE & DEVELOP HIGH TECHNOLOGY BUSINESSES BY PROVIDING DIRECT ASSISTANCE AND ACTING AS A CENTER FOR EDUCATION, COUNSELING & PROMOTING A STRONG BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT ON LI, NY
Results: LIFT Technology Scholarship Program provides merit-based scholarships of up to $5,000 per annum to science, technology, engineering and manufacturing students enrolled and graduating through Eastern Suffolk, Western Suffolk or Nassau County Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) programs. Up to ten (10) awards will be granted each year paid on a semester basis. Awards will not exceed the total costs of tuition, fees, books and supplies. Awards are valid for two years assuming academic and attendance minimums are met, however students may reapply to the program in subsequent periods if eligibility requirements are met. Awards are for undergraduate study only.
