It's a pleasure to help this local group by volunteering at fund-raising events. These dedicated folks work hard raising money and awareness for the Foundation's cause, committing all their resources to supporting VT law enforcement officers and their families.
This foundation is an asset and brings comfort to the families of our officers serving in their communities.
As a board member I am incredibly proud of what I do, and the services we provide to our Law enforcement community and their families.
Working in law enforcement, it is a relief to know that organizations like the Michael Zemanek Memorial Foundation exist. Passionate folks with a drive to make a difference in a community that can often times be overlooked.
Working with the Vermont Law Enforcement community, I applaud this organization for taking care of the officers when they need it most. This Foundation is very important to VT and all of the law enforcement officers in the State. It is comforting to know that this foundation is there when they need it.

The Micheal Zemanek Memorial Foundation is a remarkable group whose mission of providing assistance to VT law enforcement officers and their families is a stellar example of "small group, big impact". We were quite impressed with the 2019 fund raising evening at the Canadian Club that included dinner, dancing, live music, and raffles. You and many others worked hard to put together the successful event. It was well done. We were also quite moved when you honored Michael.
I didn't know Michael, but being a fellow Norwich University grad, I remember how shaken the Norwich community was when they learned of Michael’s passing.

I have been a supporter of this Foundation since it's inception. I know first hand that this group has one goal only, to support those in need in law enforcement. They are a small group that works tirelessly and without pay to provide these services. Everything they make is passed on to others. This is the definition of grass roots and hero"s!
Several months ago, our family was faced with a life-altering health crisis. We would never ask for help, but this amazing organization stepped in to help with our medical expenses. We are forever grateful for the kindness, compassion and heart behind the MZMF; a foundation created in memory of an outstanding individual.
The Michael Zemanek Memorial Foundation is a great organization formed to help law enforcement families, loved ones left behind or those facing difficult times. It is easy to take for granted the work that the men and woman of Law enforcement do, after voluntarily deciding to sign up for a career that put themselves in harms way protecting us. This organization helps when so many others forget, we all need to take care of those that take care of us, easy to say, MZMF does it.
The MZMF foundation is a wonderful organization made up of a compassionate group of individuals. I’ve seen the help and support put forth by this organization and it is truly amazing.
I've been to several events organized by this group, whose sole purpose is to help those in law enforcement who need a helping hand themselves. They are a hardworking group of caring individuals who help the law enforcement community whenever they can. Furthermore, all of their staff members are volunteers and all funds raised go directly to those in need.
This foundation is a need foundation for all of Vermont law enforcement. For all those who hold the line, the foundation provides those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to those who are in need of financial assistance the Michael Zemanek Foundation provides you and your family that assistance.
A wonderful foundation helping the families of the police who have lost their loved one.
This foundation is in memory by of the lost of a police officer who was way too young to die.
This foundation is so great, it helps the family that has lost their love one who had protected and served the public. This is giving some support to the officers family who needs it.
This foundation has helped our LE community immensely. From financial support to simple camaraderie, the MZMF team will do what it takes to help those in need. I will always be a supporter of this foundation.

One of the best nonprofits I am aware of! Our son, who is a former police officer, received financial aid from the MZMF to get help that he would not have been able to otherwise. I am forever grateful to this wonderful organization for the service they provide.

This is one of the best charities! This lady has turned the unthinkable tragedy of losing her son into a blessing that is helping so many others. The MZMF has personally helped our family and I can honestly say that our son is with us today in large part due to the help he received from the foundation. The difficulties that police officers and their families endure are often overlooked, but thanks to this wonderful lady and the MZMF, the burdens they suffer are much lighter. May God bless them in continuing their wonderful work.
Great charity doing great things for the Vermont LE community! They work hard and give hard in memory of a great Deputy and person!
This nonprofit fills a great need for Police officers that no other organization does. Very many officers do not make a adequate salary leaving their families without adequate support. It is unique among the nonprofit organizations.

The MZMF has helped several families in VT already. People don’t prepare for death or catastrophic events. When they happen to sworn officers in VT, MZMF is there to assist the individuals or family effected. This is a service often overlooked. This group of people working in Michael’s memory to help others in their time of need is amazing!
This charity organization is run by a small group of hardworking, dedicated souls in the name of a cherished loved-one. By donating profits to law enforcement families and individuals that are struggling with a loss or an illness, they keep the spirit and joy of Michael, a wonderful police-officer, friend, son and brother alive. All profits are carefully put to use to help those in need. The organization's officers are helpful, friendly and professional.
I’ve seen this charity help Law enforcement in Vermont since it’s creation. Hard work of those who run and support it have shown great results and helped many people!
The Michael Zemanek Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 charity. It provides financial support to widows/ers and half-orphaned children of sworn VT Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) who have died and to sworn VT LEOs who are faced with catastrophic situations, the nature of which pose a significant financial hardship for their immediate family; provides equipment to the VT Police Academy for the training and safety of all VT LEOs as they serve and protect the people of Vermont.
All Board Members are volunteers. Monies go directly to VT LEOs in crisis through yearly fundraising events. Mike was a VT Orange County Sheriff's Deputy and a Northfield Policeman when his heart stopped beating due to an undiagnosed arrhythmia at the age of 22. Michael always leant a helping hand in life. In his passing, will you please continue to help his VT LEO sisters and brothers? Thank you.
