Mission: Our mission is to cultivate our natural, horticultural and historic resources for learning, enjoyment and inspiration. We strive to reflect Southern California’s distinct climate, community and openness to new ideas. The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a unique 127-acre botanical garden and historical site that includes Native American, Rancho Period, and late 19th century treasures.

The Los Angeles Arboretum is a wonderful place to visit. Its rich with history and has a 127 acres for all ages to enjoy.

During a stroll on the grounds, you will see hundreds of ever changing trees and plants which make each visit feel as if it were your first.

Through the support of the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation and over 300 volunteers, members and guests can enjoy various gardens, Baldwin Lake, historical buildings and attend educational programs and special events.
