Our organization reaches out and makes a difference in so many peoples lives: school children, seniors, the visually impaired, mothers with newborn infants and more. We have auxiliaries that enable working individuals, high school students and young adults a place to volunteer. I have been a member since my daughter joined in 2004, and I am still a member today even after my daughter has gone off to college because, every member has an interest in and operates this organization - none of us are paid, and if we don't show up for our volunteer days our doors would have to close. After a day of volunteering at one of our programs, I feel thankful that I was able to make a difference in a someones' life because that's what we do at Assistance League of Arcadia.
