Fierce Freedom

Until this organization came to be, I did not realize the amount of women and children who are being trafficked in our hometown or what it truly looks like. It's not what you think and often cleverly disguised to look like normal behavior. Or that many high school girls are being trafficked by their boyfriends and relatives. The kids live in shame and are so afraid of their perpetrators.
This organization has single handedly done more to educate their communities including law enforcement, clergy and businesses than any other. And they continue to fight and speak up for those who have no voice.
This is truly an organization that needs as much support as we can give.

Fierce Freedom, in my experience, is run by staff that display a high level of integrity, are empathetic, and extremely passionate about their mission. They don't work solely on reaching and serving people affected by human trafficking, but they also dig deeply into prevention by educating the community and those that have the authority to create laws to fight against this exploitation of fellow human beings.

Such a fun charity to volunteer with! I can't wait to see how Fierce Freedom keeps growing.

Fierce Freedom's team consists of passionate, caring, knowledgeable leaders who have acknowledged one of the world's greatest autrocities- human sex trafficking- and have chosen to fight it, rather than to remain intimidated or apathetic. Grit and determination to offer freedom has propelled this non-profit to become a strong force in Wisconsin and beyond. Fierce Freedom pours genuine, intentional love into their work when they educate the community about trafficking, take steps to amend legislation, and advocate for those coming out of a trafficking lifestyle. Never before have I seen a non-profit be able to take incredibly difficult and sensitive topics and make them approachable to any age. Their encouragements to end exploitation and examples of positive leadership have changed my personal career trajectory and strengthened my sense of agency within this world.

In our society today with many hard and dark things we deal with, Fierce Freedom works hard to help those who are in need and advocate to bring awareness to this hidden issue. I have learned so much and now am better equipped to identify and call out when trafficking may be occurring. I am also learning about how I can help make a difference in the lives of those caught in this dark web.

Fierce Freedom does an amazing job educating people in the community about modern day slavery. They provide resources and training that help people recognize the signs of trafficking in the area and what to do next. They are a fantastic resource and the work they do is so important.

I initially learned of Fierce Freedom via university student activists approximately six years ago. I have since come to collaborate with Fierce Freedom as a board member. I am continuously impressed with the dedication of the staff, volunteers, and fellow board members to fulfill the mission of the organization to work to educate and equip individuals, organizations, and communities to abolish human trafficking. Fierce Freedom is active in the community and staff are dedicated to continued education to hone the efforts of the non-for-profit and committed to working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and publics to meet community, regional, and state needs surrounding human trafficking.

I am very impressed with the staff and other people I have met within the Fierce Freedom organization. They create the awareness needed for people to know about human trafficking in our area and all of the surrounding areas.

The work Fierce Freedom does is remarkable! They are saving human lives!!! What more can one say about an organization that saves human lives? Human trafficking has increased at an astonishing rate and Fierce Freedom is there to battle against it!!! Fierce Freedom is informing the public about the dangers of human trafficking and how to prevent an individual from being forced into human trafficking. Seminars, speeches, information booths and so forth are used to reach out to the public. Fierce Freedom is a life saver!!! God Bless you!

From the early days of Fierce Freedom (FF) the staff and efforts have always been impressive. They continue to look for ways to improve and develop.

FF has given hundreds of presentations letting people know what human trafficking is and, that it is local.

FF also came up with a program training hotel staffs what to look for and was so successful FF was asked to present that hotel program to attendees at the Attorney Generals Public Safety Conference.

Currently FF is embarked on providing staff training to all 70 correctional institutions in WI. Over the years many victims have reached out to FF for help. FF has helped many of these victims by getting them referred to services that are available to get professional help from.

FF is truly dedicated to making a difference combatting this often hidden crime.

Fierce Freedom is a growing nonprofit founded in my hometown region of the Chippewa Valley. They’re on the front lines in the fight against human trafficking everyday, while most of us go about our lives almost completely unaware of, or apathetic to, the growing threat.

I’ve worked with them, side by side, and know firsthand, that the Fierce Freedom staff, board and volunteers work tirelessly and passionately toward their call and mission, expanding programs as they go. Their awareness focus is growing to include targeted training, victim services and more. I support their mission and much needed presence in our community - and ask you to join me.

Because I now work at Fierce Freedom as a Survivor Advocate it is probably a little weird for me to write a review... but I'm going to anyway.... Before i worked at Fierce Freedom they directly impacted my life in a major way. I was desperately trying to find my way out of "The Game" They helped guide me on my Journey to my own freedom. They were educating my community on this thing called Human Trafficking and the many different ways that can look. I met them during one of their very first presentations as Fierce Freedom over 7 years ago already . They reached out to myself and my family and were just a loving presence in a really dark time. The way i was living though it felt at the time like i put myself there and I deserved it since after all I was just making my own bad choice after bad choice. Fierce Freedom helped me to understand they were manipulated choices and I am worthy of more! They connected me with resources that opened my eyes to the reality i seemed to have been stuck in regardless of my good upbringing. I only hope to make the difference in other Victims/Survivors lifes that Jenny made in mine just by loving me at a time when i felt unlovable.

I worked with thia amazing group for an informational gathering. The subject is sio important to everyone. I have a 13 year old daughter and 5 grandchildren and i live in fear that something could happen. This groups is so inspiring and willing to help teach your children the best ways to protect thereselves and how to handle these situations. They are working so hard to get the word out to our and surrounding communities. This can happen anywhere and we need to teach our children what to watch for and what to do in any situation. I would happily work with is group anytime they need me. Thank you Fierce Freedom for fighting this battle

It has been a blessing to watch Fierce Freedom's journey from the very beginning. They have taught me so much and constantly inspire me to do what I can to make a difference in the world, no matter how big or small. They do incredible work that impacts so many lives for good. The work they do isn't easy, but it's necessary. The world is a better place because of this organization!

Since joining the Board of Fierce Freedom nearly 5 years, I have watched this organization flourish. They have grown from simply speaking education into any organization that would listen to the importance of their message to writing curriculum and joining forces with multiple organization through the United States to bring awareness to the Fight for Freedom in the Trafficking world. I couldn’t be prouder to be part of such a great organization!

Fierce Freedom is a great organization for our community it brings so much awareness to our community. I've had the opportunity to volunteer with them the last few years. They help so many people and help train so many people.

Fierce Freedom plays a significant role in bringing awareness of human trafficking to our community and state. One of the most important things that this organization does is to educate teens and parents about the horrific reality of human trafficking. Once someone's eyes are opened to this reality of human trafficking, that person then has the power to share it with others who then share it with those that they know. Fierce Freedom's educational impact ripples through the community, opening eyes to something that many would have not known about without this organization.

They were so supportive and kind and empathetic to my desperate cry for help for my daughter. They never gave up and did and continue to be an amazing support to us all.

Fierce Freedom has little to no expertise in providing direct services but yet has started offering services without the proper training. Not only is this dangerous to the people you serve but it is unethical and immoral.

I don’t even know where to start! Fierce Freedom is one of the best things that has come into my life! Since finding out about Fierce Freedom, I have been able to share my story; my life and get support that I needed. Everyone who is apart of the team is amazing and they all have such a special gift! I hope that more people in my community get to experience their knowledge and be able to help victims in our community.

Fierce Freedom has already made a HUGE impact in my community and I'm so thankful we finally have a safe place to find help and resources. They're truly serving our community in more ways than one.

Fierce Freedom brought my attention to a situation I never believed would be in the US, let alone my backyard. I have learn so much from them and it has made me more aware of human trafficking and what to look out for.

Fierce Freedom has done so much for the state of Wisconsin in bringing the crime of human trafficking into the light. The people who work for Fierce Freedom are friendly and very knowledgeable about the issue. Their passion in so evident in all the work that they do to raise awareness for human trafficking.
