Mission: The Discovery Museums mission is to inspire enduring curiosity and love of learning through interactive discovery, hands-on inquiry, and scientific investigation.
Programs: The Children's Discovery Museum is developmentally designed for infants and toddlers to encourage learning through play. The Science Discovery Museum, designed for children ages 6 through teens, offers open ended science exhibits and programs that encourage experimenting and questioning. The Museums serve over 140,000 visitors, with an additional 14,000 served each year through special programs and classroom workshops. We also provide teacher education programs focused on hands-on learning techniques.
