Mission: Radio reading service turns printed information into an audio based media accessible to people who are blind or who have a print disability. A print disability includes anything that prevents someone from holding a book, newspaper, magazine, etc. , due to conditions such as arthritis, stroke, multiple sclerosis, als, or paralysis. Print disabilities include low vision, total blindness, learning disabilities and literacy challenges. Continuous programming is provided 24/7, which is 168 hours a week and 8,736 hours a year to an estimated 20,000 individuals in the triangle area.
