This is an absolutely wonderful organization. They have done and continue to do so much to uncover the abuses inherent in vivisection. Through truth the exploiters can not hide and the public will be educated!
I fully and wholeheartedly agree with saving animals from being killed for any other reason, except for food or scientific discovery, and by euthanasia when needed. Killing for food is necessary, because humans are omnivores. I will change this statement, if something similarly nutritious and delicious as meat can be made from plants. But killing animals MUST be done in a HUMANE way. Sometimes when I have chicken wings I see a broken humerus bone with signs suggesting it happened while the chicken was alive. I am for humane keeping and handling of all animals, including turtles and tortoises hunted for their meat and believed medicinal properties in China and India.
The use of animals in scientific medical research is controversial, but strictly regulated that does not allow handling them in a cruel way. They are anesthetized when operated on, and yes, sometimes killed, in a humane way. That is done, because your grandmother needs a medication to stay alive in a humane way, like not in pain. Those thousands of mice die in a humane way, not by a trap in your kitchen or caught by your cat; they help developing medicines for you and for your grandma. They die for us, humans, humanely.
Positive results for the animals they represent is what this organization brings. Tireless efforts on behalf of all animals in labs and research. One of only a handful of organizations that speaks up for these often time forgotten beings. I serve as an advisor to this organization on primate issues and support their efforts whenever I can.

SAEN, does more for less than any organization that advocates for the ending of Animal Experimentation than any group I know of. They also provide assistance to many groups that otherwise would not be able to do the work they do without the valuable guidance and assistance of SAEN. SAEN provides valuable information and facts about what is really going on behind the closed doors of many laboratories. They uncover and shine the light on the inside of the labs and that benefits the animals caught up in animal experimentation that do not have a voice otherwise. It's easy to recommend SAEN their work speaks for itself.
This organization not only does all of the work they say they do, they do all the follow-up work to make sure that the campaigns they work on will have success from start to finish. Every penny they raise will be used to create awareness and results. I am happy I learned about their work and hope they continue to grow. I strongly encourage everyone to support SAEN.
