Rating: 5 stars 13 reviews
Location: 1315 Barbara Jordan Blvd Austin TX 78723 USA
Direct beneficiaries per year: We served more than 1,740 families in 2012.
Programs: Through the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room programs in Austin, we serve over 1400 families a year by providing lodging, meals and support services to families with ill or injured children. Families stay with us for an average of 8 nights. We open our doors to all families from all walks of life. If a family cannot afford to pay the $10 a night fee, we will cover all expenses. We will never turn anyone away regardless of their financial situation. We provide limited burial assistance funds, and bereavement counseling for those who have lost a child.

I have been involved with RMHC in Austin, Texas for over 20 years. The staff and volunteers in this wonderfull charity are top notch. Countless families from our area and beyond are provided a much needed service in their times of need. Being able to have a great enviroment to stay in when their children are facing often long and taxing treatments for devestating health issues helps give them some comfort during this time. The community of volunteers is wonderfull, and extremely helpfull.
The staff does everything they can to help as many as they can. I am both a supporter and Board Member of this wonderfull Charity.
