I went to the VA Ren Faire when it was first re-opened. At that time it was a small faire struggling to get on its feet but the enthusiasm and level of knowledge of the period was impressive. Since that time it has grown in both size and professionalism. It is a pleasure to attend, both for entertainment and to learn the living history.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable and fun.

Ways to make it better...

the weather had cooperated :)

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

My husband and I spent a day at this wonderful event and had a terrific time. The cast was outstanding and engaged the patrons, the events were as close to authentic as possible, prices didn't gouge, activities appealed to all ages, and the location was lovely with enough shade to accommodate the guests. We'll definitely go back again.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

attending one of their weekend faires.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

their love of the Renaissance era, and their willingness to volunteer their time to share their exuberence with others.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

clearly committed to this event. They were courteous and concerned with making sure the patrons had an enjoyable time.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

move forward with their plans to provide educational offerings to schools in the Virginia/Maryland area.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time
