For over thirteen years, Multi-Arts, an innovative arts program for children ages 4-18, has fulfilled its mission of inspiring, guiding, and educating youth in the performance and visual arts. What started as a summer camp for twelve children in the director's garage has grown to be a year-round program that inspires dozens of students each year through an outreach network that includes public spaces and schools in a number of communities, a beautiful website, and, most recently, through the publication of an electronic magazine. There is no other organization in this area doing what we do so effectively to engage young people in becoming published and presenting artists.

I have two spectrum kids who have done really well at Multi-arts
they have nurtured one of my son's special talent in art and managed some very different developmental levels than his peers! They have been positive and supportive. They have alot of counselors in the summer which I like alot! As well as alot of fun interesting child focused and driven activities. For instance, the play is written by the children then they perform it for family/visitors at the end of the week.
They do art, acting, singing, dance, music all in each day/session.
They are expanding doing a variety of things- My sons also did their seminar for making their own Halloween costumes which I hope will become an annual tradition- They would go to the after school too if it didn't conflict with other things they are already committed to.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My child's art has been exhibited publicly. He feels proud and that he has a special talent and a place to work on it. Pleased that they can manage his occasional behavioral challenges!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I like how they are expanding and diversifying. Increasing after school and occasional activities. (like Halloween) I am looking to doing some of their winter vacation.
