Review from Guidestar
April 22, 2013

I have firsthand knowledge of this organization and the way they conduct business. The organization as a whole is not respectful of staff and consumers of their services. The organization has a large turn over rate, supports racist, discriminatory and destructive socio-economic tactics. Job development was non existent for two years yet the organization received got funding for this purpose. Money is acquired by contract and grant and suddenly is diminished forcing people out of jobs. Raises are not issued on time and evaluations are done 1 1/2 years late without paying retroactive pay. The company spends extreme amounts of money on white employees and lowballs African American and Latino employees. The organization has more property in its holding that is used for the companies big wigs and friends. Impact Services does not pay overtime to its employees when an employee works overtime. The organization doles out salaries not hourly wages then demands its employees to use personal or sick time to address time missed. The treatment of its Veterans in their programs is offensive and sad. The security monitors are nasty and abusive and are too willing to address Veterans who have served this country with almost no respect.
Though this organization provides services and employees people they are substandard, hostile and equally a hazard as they are supposedly a help.
