It seems that they only take money for litigation and have yet to show any financials that prove that have taken collected donations and saved them in order to purchase open space. If they weren't being glorified as protecting the planet they would be know as a Lawyer's Best Friend.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would raise money to purchase open space instead of suing the City's park and a development that is giving 75% away to natural and park open spaces.

The Conservancy is dedicated to the preservation, acquisition, conservation and maintenance of the entire Banning Ranch as a permanent public open space, park and coastal nature preserve. I was one of sixty people rallied by the Banning Ranch Conservancy who attended a Newport Beach city council meeting to voice our opposition to the construction of a highway on Banning Ranch. There were so many of us we were lined up through the lobby to take turns speaking.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Increase funding!

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the goal of preserving open space for recreation and biological diversity

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very dedicated

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

purchase the 401 coastal acres of Banning Ranch right now, and transform it into Orange County’s best hiking, biking and open space park, preserved for future generations

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2007
