An absolutely wonderful outdoor theater experience under the oak trees in Topanga Canyon, outside of Los Angeles! The quality of the Shakespeare and other classical presentations, and their commitment to helping students understand and experience plays and theater techniques through classes makes them one of the favorite field trips in Los Angeles. Their presentations touch the very deepest human emotions with sensitivity and skill.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

watching the rapt and delighted faces of the audiences at the Shakespeare, in the classes and at the Kids Koncerts and other musical events.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make sure they had financial security so they could expand their programs.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

their commitment to lifting the human spirit, both in their work with their audience, and in their approach to working with actors and staff.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

helpful, caring and talented.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

enrich the lives of many more people in the Southern California area, develop new shows, subsidize more educational programs for low income and minority children, finish becoming energy independent and build more bonds with the Topanga community.

Ways to make it better...

more people were exposed to the theater's many wonderful programs.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

financial in nature. The infrastructure of the organization is sound and based on an interdependent model of teams helping and supporting each other.

One thing I'd also say is that...

The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum is a "diamond" still undiscovered by many of the people in the entertainment industry of Los Angeles.
