Eliviate hunger for the low-income homebound elderly, mentally challenged, mentally handi capped, and children with a hand up, not a hand out. To assist in disaster relief. In 2004 we donated 4,000,000 pounds of food to address the nutritionally challenged of Florida. We also donated over 100,000 volunteer hours.
T.V.W. has a program called The Brown Bag Program which delivers 40 to 60 pounds of food to the low income homebound elderly each month plus we visit each month with these lonely seniors. We also clean the homes of those that are frail or disable each month. Our Angle program has programs that assist mentally challenged and handi capped with training program that helps them be the most they can be. We started a new program called Street Grace. TVW donates food to make up non-parishables food bag to be given to homeless people and nutritionally challenged families that the sheriff's depities meet during their shift.

The Volunteer Way helps all that come to them for assistance. At the present they are assisting 19,000 families each month. They also help 40 food pantries and 28 other types of charities.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
They help so many hurting people and all their assistance is given free
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
If they had 10 million bucks, they could feed all of Florida.
