Programs: Religion related, spiritual development: the salt project served the church by facilitating literacy, discipleship and scripture impact to transform communities pursuant to matthew 28:19-20; promoted theological education by extension (tee). Further, we conducted nine "scripture application & leadership training" (salt) courses, training over 1,300 pastors and leaders in the pacific. As part of the salt course outreach, these leaders traveled into the surrounding villages, preaching and teaching the gospel to over 7,500 villagers in their own "heart-language. " additionally, in 2012, we continued to mentor our certified salt instructors in the salt methods and consultant skills mentoring program to better equip salt personnel. The total program service expenses total $37,537. 66, which includes $21,208. 35 in ministry expense reimbursements (mer) paid through an accountable reimbursement plan (apr) to accomplish the exempt purposes of the salt project.
