The Dillon Henry Foundation is a phenomenal nonprofit that helps students achieve their academic dreams by providing generous scholarships. They expand all the way to the Congo in Africa, where they are raising money to build a school. They are dedicated to making the world a better place.
The DHF is a wonderful organization that funds a number of different projects around the world, especially ones that help young people. From funding education, to health facilities, to orphanages and social work programs, the DHF is committed to empowering youth in many different ways.
The Dillion Henry Foundation is a wonderful nonprofit that honors the incredible memory of a life lost too early, and preserves the impact Dillion Henry would have had on the world. The projects that DHF fund and support are those that support the underdog, those unheard, the undeserved. Being a member of the Board maintains my personal connection to Dillion, as well as knowing that we are doing a small part to preserve his larger than life memory, his passion for the earth, and his immense empathy with those in need world wide.
What a beautiful way to honor the life of a kind, thoughtful, and giving person. The Dillon Henry Foundation is not your average stuffy, bureaucratic foundation. Their giving is always personal, and they strive to maintain strong connections with the people they support. I feel honored to be on the board with so many smart and dedicated people who are all determined to make the world a better place - and well on their way to doing so.
I am moved by the humanitarian efforts of this organization as well as its dedication to education and our planet. The back story of the family losing a son, reminds me that life is to be enjoyed and not squandered. What a legacy they are leaving by pulling together individuals who care about creating better lives for those in need, especially children. I am motivated to give and give again to an organization that puts it all into the charities who touch my heart.
DHF is an outstanding organization that gives so much back to our community. Annually, the DHF offers tens of thousands of dollars worth of college scholarships to support young people seeking an education. It also funds other projects focused on the global good, including filmmakers in the WITNESS program, and summer interns at the Surfrider Foundation headquarters. I'm proud to be a part of the DHF family.
Dillonslist is a wonderful organization in memory of a young man whose dream was to change the world one step at a time. Sadly he was taken too young but this organization was built to keep his dreams alive. His love of surfing and being in nature is why Dillonslist works with Surf Rider foundation to keep our beaches clean and the oceans healthy. He was also dedicated to volunteering with children and motivating them to be the best they can be, this is kept alive by events with CASA, Jewish World Watch and Palisades Charter High School. Donations have all gone to causes that are changing the world and making people live better lives.
The Dillon Henry Foundation not only helped me obtain my Bachelor of Arts, at the University of California Riverside, it has also provided funds, resources, and support for dozens of other high school students entering into college. As a former scholarship recipient, I've learned the value of what it means to pay it forward. The Dillon Henry foundation is more than just an organization dedicated to serving those in need. It's a movement, that calls for gratitude and justice abroad and at home.
A wonderful group of family and friends doing great work in their community and around the world, supporting many students' college dreams with financial assistance and personal support, truly making a difference for many first-generation college-bound!
