Programs: SVH Foundation's primary initiative at this time is the Montana Pediatric Project (read below). Programs benefiting from endowments include, but are not limited to:* Pediatric Greatest Needs Endowment: Provides a steady stream of resources to help families with hospitalized children with the cost of necessary equipment, transportation, and lodging; to provide short term salary support for specialized staff such as pediatric intensivists; and to support equipment and remodeling needs of the pediatric hospital.* Leave No Child Behind Endowment: Supports the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile and other free medical and dental care ministries to children who would otherwise lack such care.*Health Care [Nursing] Education Scholarships provide educational scholarships for people in the health care profession at SVH for degree certification, college credit workshops, professional seminars and/or continuing education.* Senior Services Endowment: Provides essential services for seniors, most specifically SVH's Gold Advantage Senior Services Program.* Greatest Need Endowment: Provides equipment, support for hospital programs and otehr resources for the many important ministries of SVH.Designated gifts may include gifts to purchase new equipment, gifts to support outreach programs such as diabetes education and gifts to support specialized staff such as pediatric intensivists.

I think St Vincents is the only hospital that, while you are still paying on a bill, because you can't pay the full amount or what they WANT you to pay, they turn the bill over to collections. They won't work with you and if they don't like what you can afford to pay they are very rude and disrespectful. I do not like St V's any more and do not go to them unless there are no other choices.

For a NON PROFIT, when people can't afford healthcare and have to pay for those who don't have insurance OBAMACARE sounds good!!!!!
