SRCF has been one of the most successful community foundations in California, even during the recession. They provide a valuable service to the Northstate, by managing funds, and giving support to many organizations and initiatives in education, the arts and areas critical to the health of our community.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing their support make real changes for individuals and organizations. We are very fortunate to have an organization of this caliber in our community that is available to meet the needs of local philanthropists and to increase our quality of life.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
increase their budgeting, to take the pressure off the energetic and dedicated staff, all working mothers by the way, and allow them some breathing space!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
building a new resource to support the needs of women and families
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Very friendly and willing to help.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
put Redding on the map!
Ways to make it better...
I had known more about SRCF and their scope.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
as with all non-profits, sustaining and growing sources of funding
One thing I'd also say is that...
Our community is lucky to have an organization of this caliber.
