To provide kids on the free lunch program a meal when they are not in school.

We have been fundraising to buy a food truck in every major city to provide free meals in the projects and troubled areas. This would have been more helpful for the hurricane and storm victim areas.

They helped me with food. I had lost my job and was starting a new one. I didn't have enough for the first 2 weeks for gas money but because they provided food for my family, I was able to pay for the gas. I am on my own and making money and my family is happy. Great people, help them help others.

This is simply a wonderful idea sparked by a question from a child. What do the kids on the "Free Lunch Program" do when they're not in school? Well, this group answers that question. They provide a meal for kids over the summer and during the school year they fill the gaps on the weekends and holidays. Everyone is a volunteer and happy to help.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

see the students receive gift packages and matching donors with clients.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Hire fundraisers full time. They could help more with more full time focus.

Original Board of Directors.

What is this organization's top short-term priority?

Simple non perishable meals. There is tons of need in the community.

What is its top priority in the long run?

Preparing a season ahead. For example, Capture food and monetary donations for summer in the winter and spring. They are doing both, trying to get donations from grocery and others while feeding these kids in the community.
