I am proud to be part PAHO Foundation’s staff. Our team dynamics are unlike any that I have experienced in my 15+ years working in a non-profit. We are all passionate about our role in contributing to advancing PAHO Foundation’s mission. These are exciting times!

The staff, Board of Trustees and FTAG (Foundation's Technical Advisory Group) members are truly dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the people of the Americas. It is a pleasure to work for an organization that is helping communities and families in the Americas live long, health, dignified and productive lives.

I have followed the impressive work of PAHO Foundation for several years as an international development professional. Based on my 35+ years of experience, I can say that PAHO Foundation’s integrated approach to solving health challenges in the Latin America and Caribbean region will have real and positive impacts on people’s lives. The Foundation works with a wide variety of partners and programs, which enables it to reach across traditional lines to find innovative solutions that can improve the health of millions of people. This is what we need! A fantastic group of professionals and organization!

I am excited to be a part of PAHO Foundation and value the mission of the organization. I look forward to witnessing the advances and achievements PAHO Foundation will make for those in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Working at PAHO Foundation is an honor. I am surrounded by passionate professionals and leaders that are driven by the mission of the organization to advance public health in the Americas. In the past year, we have made strides and are poised to do more with regards to NCDs, women's health and other public health issues with the shared vision of one health and convening different partners.

PAHO Foundation is fast becoming a thought-leader in the advancement of pubic health in the Americas. It's multi-stakeholder approach to public heath concerns and issues within the region is a reflection of its deep understanding of the region and its vision to serve as a convenor and catalyst for sustainable improvements to public health throughout the region.

I have worked with PAHO Foundation and even interned for them, and all of my experiences have been nothing short from fantastic! The staff and leadership are passionate and committed to advancing public health in the Americas and work tirelessly to achieve that mission.

They are small but growing quickly! The organization has recently relocated to Atlanta, GA to better position itself within the LAC and global health community, which I think is a great idea with the many public health entities in the area. It is astounding how much work they have accomplished over the years (i.e. strengthening health systems, promoting women's health, and combating neglected tropical diseases like Zika), so I definitely think they are worth checking out!

Oh my goodness! The foundation has yet another brand and website with an almost complete turn-over of staff yet again and again and again. The people of Latin America and the Caribbean deserve better.

I am a donor and staff member here at the Foundation. These past few years have been a transition for the organization but the Foundation has received clean audits throughout the years, new leadership in our president and board chair and members, and are poised to help public health in the Americas and our preferred partner, the Pan American Health Organization. They are an incredible group of public health heroes committed to sustainable public health solutions.

For years this nonprofit has been trying to determine what its mission and focus are but never really gets there. It has rebranded itself at least four times since the early 2000s. Especially when it lost PALTEX, it provides essentially no value to PAHO. PAHO has its own staff to promote it and reach out to corporations for partnerships.
