Our mission is toempower people to take responsibility for communities, to shape public policy, and to build a legacy of leadership throughout Orange County.
Program focus is Anaheim with a view toward expansion into greater Orange County. In Anaheim, OCCCO is co-leading the Poverty Task Force, a collaboration that recently drafted and presented a five-year plan to support, serve, and house homeless families in the City of Anaheim. OCCCO will replicate this model in other Orange County cities.

Reviews for Orange County Congregation Community Organization
Volunteering with OCCCO has been nothing short of a blessing. I approached the organization envisioning all the ways that I could assist them in their worthy aspirations. Yet the more involved I become with OCCCO and its members, I have realized that no matter how much time or expertise I feel I contribute to our goals, I always leave our meetings and events gaining so much more than I could ever give. I believe that this is because OCCCO has provided me the opportunity to work alongside some amazing community members on issues that we can connect over. Not only have I been able to make these uplifting connections to my fellow community members, but OCCCO staff and leaders consistently encourage me to develop my personal story and to take leadership in our group efforts. Overall, I believe that the personal relationships that OCCCO cultivates within the community is an inspiring approach to community organizing.
