I've been with this non-profit for over 10 years, first serving as a volunteer to teach about pregnancy complications and how people living in rural Tibet could recognize and treat some of these major complications. I was asked to be on the board, agreed, and have been an active member since our incorporation about 8 years ago. We teach physicians, midwives, skilled birth attendants, traditional birth attendants, local village people, and families about safe birthing practices. This empowers local people to advance their own communities, while creating the ultimate in sustainability. Please visit the website at www.oneheartworld-wide.org .
