The foundation makes grants to address the costs of non-reimbursed medical or therapy treatments not covered by insurance or other programs for people with low and moderate incomes. The harry gregg foundation typically provides only a portion of the assistance required and partners with other funders to meet the total need of the applicant. Examples of typical grants made during this period include specialty equipment services or supplies; modifications to living area, work site or vehicle; respite services to the recipient or caregivers; costs of attending a special camp; recreational activities; and vocational education or driver training tuition assistance.
