To improve the health status of the communities we serve, especially the disenfranchised, poor and most vulnerable members by providing high quality, comprehensive care which is affordable, respectful, culturally and linguistically and age appropriate.

During the fiscal year ended 6. 30. 2015, the organization provided outpatient primary care services to approximately 40,350 unduplicated clients (including 2,942 homeless clients). Over 92% of the individuals served were at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. The medical department provided 94,589 patient visits. The dental department provided 33,236 patient visits, the optometry department provided 12,864 patient visits and the healthcare for the homeless program provided 8,393 patient visits.

I have been a volunteer with Gardern for over 10 years and they really understand the needs, the cultural barriers, and the economic binds that impact the everyday living of those in need.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the way clients are enabled to transforms there lives because they are get the care they need.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

seeing how compassionate the staff was towards the clients, even though it was clear that they wouldn't be able to pay.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

intelligent, funny and inspiring to me as a volunteer.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

open more clinics to serve the homeless and uninsured in our community.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
