Mission: To facilitate the holistic transformation of communities by cultivating grassroots movements, equipping churches for local and global impact, and forming transformational partnerships.
Programs: Entermission provides many local programs serving disadvantaged families from the monroe circle community. The food pantry served approximately 370 different families each month - 550 unique families were consistently served over the course of the year. The gathering which offers weekly hot meals and spiritual development/growth served 60 adults and 20 children on a weekly basis. The son city kids after school program met twice a week during the school year and offered 12 students learning opportunities outside of school including mentoring, tutoring, social and ongoing spiritual development opportunities. The hse/ged program offers courses that will help individuals complete high school and take the high school equivalence exam. The program runs 4 days per week and served 30 individuals during the year. The financial literacy program teaches adults how to manage and save their finances through a 10 week course and served 60 adults during the year. The green lockers program collected 20,000 pounds of school supplies from 30,000 students in 51 schools and distributed those supplies to 70 charities/teachers. Carpenter's hands, a volunteer construction team, is involved in many community renovation projects. Carpenter's hands mobilized 100-250 volunteers, as well as provided skill development and mentoring to disadvantaged men and women. Women enterprise quilting (mc3we) provided a quilting atmosphere for 12 adults 2 days weekly.
