Energyteachers has an undeniable commitment to energy education. They sent one of their representatives to observe, participate, and aid in facilitating one of our three-day teacher/student workshops. His fluency with energy production/usage and his understanding of the physics that underlies wind, water, and solar energy was a valuable contribution. We also benefitted greatly from his expertise in pedagogical strategies, like emphasis on constructing models, for scaffolding energy concepts. Beyond this, Energyteachers also lent us equipment for a student wind activity and a demonstration which clearly illustrated the principle of induction.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the professional growth of teachers and the excitement and interest in students regarding energy.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

help it become a major resource for more teachers/students to take advantage of.

Energy Teachers make themselves so wide available to teachers. I can't think of a thing to change except finding more ways to get the word out. Their work is so timely and teachers need the resources they compile.
