I run a new company, Jvillage Network, that purchased Darim Online's Web site development business. During the course of our negotiations, Lisa Colton always kept the best interests of the synagogues and other Jewish non-profits she served at the forefront of the process. She always remained true to her mission to support a vibrant and successful Jewish community in the 21st century. She agreed to our purchase and the significant relationships that came with it only after becoming convinced that we were committed to continuing on this journey of creating a more vibrant and successful Jewish community through working with synagogues and other Jewish organizations to help them engage and grow their memberships. I speak with Lisa every week as we continue to ensure a smooth transition.

I have consulted with Lisa at Darim Online to help with my organization's marketing strategy and recently participated in one of their webinars. I found the information presented incredibly clear and concrete - it broadened my understanding of social media today, but more importantly sparked ideas of how I can use it better for marketing and recruitment through targeting different audiences using different social media technologies. I am looking forward to participating in other webinars and learning more about other strategies and approaches. Before speaking with Lisa, online social media was difficult to get my head around and I wasn't using anything really in my work. But Lisa explained things in such a way that I have been inspired to experiment more and am actually looking forward to it! Darim Online is an expert and invaluable resource for non-profits.

Darim Online has changed the way countless Jewish organizations and synagogues now work. Lisa is one of the most creative and strategic thinkers in the Jewish community. She not only understands that we need to change the way we work, she guides us through the means to do this. I cannot think of an organization that has had more impact in helping other organizations function better, so the ripple effect is huge. Darim Online is our go to resource for any technology concern. We have used Lisa for presentations and she is completely inspirational and motivational!

Darim Online has worked with my synagogue to help them create an online strategy that reaches members and prospects wherever they may be. It makes the synagogue so accessible, and the social networking strategies being employed allow us to connect in so many different ways, thanks to the inspiration and modelling provided by Darim Online. Recently, a young family in our congregation adopted twin toddler boys from Guatemala. Then the new mother broke her collarbone. Sisterhood arranged a network of volunteers to help lift, feed and care for those kids while the Mom healed. It was so much fun to share all that support through our Facebook community. Darim helped us realize those possibilities - and this is only one of many stories.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Making our synagogue and Sisterhood programs and members easily accessible through online information and social networking.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Give them more funding to enable them to help more Jewish organizations understand the power of this new technology

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

They help us keep moving forward in this world of rapidly changing technology that has such potential, but is so confusing to understand and implement properly

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very knowledgable and totally dedicated to building Jewish community regardless of denominaton

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

It doesn't need that much, but if it had $100,000 more per year, it could expand its social media bootcamps. Next year, Google will be introducing and even newer generation of social networking so this organization needs to help us evolve with all this!

Ways to make it better...

My experience has been totally satisfactory. No suggestions.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Scale and funding

One thing I'd also say is that...

It is a great and much needed service.
