Target demographics: Low- income community members and families living in Paterson, NJ, Passaic County, NJ and northern NJ who are in need of groceries and social services. Also middle- school aged children from Paterson's School 5.

Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Bag 120 grocery bags, which would feed around 40 people for one week!

Programs:

CUMAC provides bagged groceries to families and individuals in need in Paterson, Passaic County and beyond.  Typically, we feed a monthly average of 2,600 people - 1 in 3 are children, 1 in 5 have a disability or chronic illness and 1 in 9 are senior citizens. 

Mission:
CUMAC feeds people and changes lives. It works to alleviate hunger and its root causes for those in need in Paterson, Passaic County and northern NJ.

Over 25 years ago while serving as a pastor in Paterson I became acquainted with CUMAC when I brought my youth group to the ministry which was then located in a tiny church. Hugh Dunlop proudly gave us a tour. I later became a board member and ultimately served as Board President. What a joy it ... more »
