The Camps Foundation put simply does amazing things. Their integration into the communities where they operate means they are in a unique position to offer not simple aid and assistance programs, but long term projects that make a real difference to the lives of people they interact with. On the ground I have seen their work to help communities with physical infrastructure as well as education and long term sustainable agriculture. They also take just as much care with of the young volunteers who are exposed to dranmatically different cultures and environments in a way that is very inspiring. As a donor it is great to see the funds being used with consideration and to get the fantastic feedback from the communities that recieved the assistance. Well done all.

I am particularly proud to support Camps Foundation as I know this organisation only invests in sustainable community projects which maximise participation at a grassroots level. Camps Foundation is not afraid to tackle all development sectors in their localised projects - education, women's health, vocational training, environmental sustainability etc. All of these projects are in keeping with priorities laid out in the UN Millennium Development Goals and are establised with extensive community consultation. The work of Camps Foundation consistently shows that small initiatives can achieve significant results!

To be a part of Camps Foundation is a great feeling as you know that your efforts genuinely are worth it and the improvements made to communities are considerable, also donation goes directly to the projects and communities intended. From building new kitchens in schools so that the cooks can actually breath without smoke filling their lungs to providing greatly needed health care outreach, the projects are wanted, they are always completed and they naturally create a ripple of change. Sustainability is the key to success with this kind of work and the continuous stream of hard working volunteers, alongside Camps' strong, committed staff there is a recipe for success that will continue for a long time to come.

I am very proud to have played a small part in Camps Foundation's work. They work consistently with the same small communities to provide long-term support, which means you can really see the fruits of their labour. Unlike larger charities, they are small and personable enough to be on first-name terms with those that benefit from their work. I believe that this grassroots approach is much more effective and sustainable. That small (compared to the much larger but better known charities that do similar work) but consistent drip-feed of support into small rural communities means they really do change lives.
