In the New York arts scene--and in the global arts scene--there are few major institutions that match the degree of innovative programming in multiple discplines BAM has to offer. Not only does it bring performing companies in areas of Theater, Dance, Contemporary Music, and Opera from all over the world to New York audiences, but it creates a sense of global and local community. BAM is a hub for the hip New Yorker, and gives back to its community through Education & Humanities Programming.
