MY STORY IS THAT-- I am one of the FEW still "Participating LIVING teachers" that taught at the original Bralley school before integration 1965... I feel my NAME should BE POSTED or LISTED somewhere in the research readings as well as OTHER(ALL) TEACHERS who taught there.... I also wrote the "SCHOOL SONG"!!!! Does the organization wait for DEATH in order to be RECOGNIZED &/or LISTED (if ever)???.. there's NO LIST of the names of the TEACHERS who sacrificed their time, financially,(underpaid) the HARSH CONDITIONS, efforts, LOVE... there's NOTHING that shows APPRECIATION for US .. WOW! I have never MISSED a reunion & maybe 4 ex teachers have been back for reunions..... my brother MAQUESTIA J. Johnson, the 1st & only Black mayor isn't listed as MAYOR, is he??? David Johnson the 1st Black city councilman isn't listed...... Much improvements needs to be made, recognized & appreciated.... not the SAME KINFOLKS!!! MS. CHARMION JOHNSON-Polk --Infamous "class of 59"
