Mission: Barton college is committed to providing programs and opportunities to encourage the intellectual, spiritual, social, and cultural development of its students and to challenge them for future leadership and service to their local and global communities.
Programs: Instruction: academic departments, lifelong education, summer school, and portions of general expenses and physical plant expenses. Approximately 1,100 students enrolled in classes in fiscal year 2014.
academic support: academic deans' offices, instructional support, library, registrar, computer center, institutional research, and information technology.
student aid: pell and seog grants, nc legislative tuition grant and nc state contract grants, federal work study, scholarships and loan funds (perkins and general loans).
student services: enrollment services, student services, financial aid, housing and food services, post office, collegiate athletics, and other activities.
